SeraScript 365 is a digital document management system (DDMS) designed to automate your filing, digitizing, storage, organization, approval, and access workflows. It is built on Microsoft Office 365 to provide the most support for automating your workflow.
SeraScript Vault is designed to meet the most stringent government regulations and to provide the most durability and protection for your data. It is built using Microsoft Azure write once read many (WORM) technology.

Easy and Secure Filing
SeraScript supports bulk file uploads, while also verifying network traffic to detect corruption of data packets when storing or retrieving data. It also supports drag and drop uploads for even quicker interaction. You don’t even have to worry about file format, as SeraScript 365 has a built in PDF converter.
Versioning
SeraScript also protects your data by using document versioning. Versioning safeguards against user error, while also complying with regulations. Users can access any version of a file they require. SeraScript 365 stores the last 50,000 versions of each document, while SeraScript Vault will store every version no matter how many exist.
Simplifying Audits
Another one of our goals when designing SeraScript was to reduce the added time and stress caused by audits. SeraScript’s full-text search allows you instantly find whatever document you are looking for, making document retrieval easy. Due to SeraScript’s seamless integration, steps that used to require user interaction can be automated, making the audit process even quicker. SeraScript also stores complete audit trails of all transactions.
Blockchain
SeraScript uses blockchain integration to further validate data on the blockchain. Data is hashed and validated in a public and decentralized manner across thousands of independent devices to ensure the highest level of verification. Public verifiability is a key component that makes SeraScript better than competitors. Not only is data verified at the highest standard, but the process is also transparent – allowing for the highest level of trust.
Organization
In addition to traditional folder/subfolder structure, SeraScript 365 also supports tagging, custom views, automatic indexing, and advanced filtering based on metadata. You can also quickly re-organize data with our drag and drop interface.
SeraScript 365 allows 150 fields of metadata, while SeraScript Vault supports unlimited fields.
Data Protection
SeraScript Vault is redundant across multiple secure datacenters across multiple regions. Once uploaded, data is encrypted and regularly verified, and any data corruption is repaired using redundant data. SeraScript Vault is designed to sustain concurrent hardware failures, network and power outages, and massive natural disasters. This translates to at least 99.99999999999999% (16 9's) durability of objects over a given year.
SeraScript is backed with Microsoft Azure’s Service Level Agreement.
Simplifying Compliance and Security
The technology behind SeraScript Vault ensures your compliance with relevant FINRA and SEC regulations (SEC Rule 17a-4(f), FINRA Rule 4511(c), and the principles-based requirements of CFTC Rule 1.31(c)-(d)). Files are stored in a non-erasable and non-rewritable (WORM) format, which meets FINRA storage requirements.
Of course, SeraScript also has robust user security. We offer two-factor authentication and Single sign-on (SSO) for streamlined authentication.
Workflow
One of our primary goals with SeraScript 365 is to streamline the user workflow. SeraScript 365 can automate most of the steps in your approval process – once a confidential item is uploaded, SeraScript will automatically prevent sharing until the approval workflow has finished. After that, it can automatically share the document with the relevant parties. SeraScript also has automation options for detecting when a document is finalized via signature, and automatic PDF conversion.
SeraScript 365 offers a built-in connector to FormsLogic, while SeraScript Vault offers a built-in connector for DocuSign for seamless integration. These workflow improvements and automations are designed, in part, to significantly improve the client onboarding process.
